SF KIDS - BOOKS

Wanting to create a streaming service for kids that offers more than the competitors we decided to implement books both to read or to listen to. Teaming up with fairytell (digital childrens books provider) we managed to implement about 200 books in the service. My job was to find a design to make place for the books in the Sf Kids play app.

The content switch

We did not want to mix movies/and series with the books so we implemented a content switch , and i needed to design a new grid for books, since their covers have very inconsistent proportions. I also decided to remove the features that wasn’t necessary for reading.

Communicating with the developers I created a guide but we mostly worked through zeplin.
